"Galvatron is a bitch. Ok I am done..."
Yeah that's what I said on OAFE. First impressions? Yeah...
Well Galvatron is based on a tank in this version. His G1 version was a "standing cannon", which doesn't clarify it any better. The tank mode is nice. It's molded a plastic grey, some silver paint is applied on some panels, the treads are black. His cannon is a nice translucent orange. Which is a nice homage to the G1 version. It shoots out a translucent orange missile. It doesn't shoot far or strong enough to knock any thing over (except some cardboard...). On the cannon base it says "GALV-25", signifying Galvatron and the upcoming 25th anniversary line. He also has a missile housing for 6 missiles. The detail on the tank is amazing. Again he has some panels of a real tank, some intakes. In the back sides he has 2 molded missiles on the left and right side. The treads are sculpted well.
Transforming him is a pain, so when ever you get him, you'll know...My only advice is to snap off the right arm off. It's one of those joints where it just fits in a hole and pretends to be secure. I'd add the arm after you're done the other transformation. People say the left arm easily snaps off? Well I just hold the arm peg and the purple shoulder and hold it between my thumb and finger, and just bend it out. People want to just bring it down, that won't happened if you don't want it to break.
His robot mode is ok looking. It grew on me a bit. He has a bit of homage to the G1 Galvatron. You will see his head, duh...The three crowned head, His "4 pack" abs. The body is mostly grey, from the tank, but some purple show up on the left shoulder, head, torso, forearm/ hand, and the feet. For some reason I noticed Hasbro put these bright orange plastic on him. In both modes rather. You'd expect it to be for the cannon only. All the orange is located at the joints of the figure. Like his wheels are orange because the can move. The only non orange parts are his knees and elbows. Some problems I faced at first was weak joints. The legs would flop, the arms swings around heavily. I just used my easy method by sticking paper between the joints. Speaking of joints he moves at the neck, elbows, bicep, waist, hips, thighs, "knees", and ankles. The knees are so high I don't know what they would be classified as. You see the thighs are supposed to be longer that the shin. Well in this case the shins are twice as long as the thigh. The knees are pretty high up...Also as a note in the instructions his left arm has this hook looking thing, that they say to pull out. It really has no significance really, maybe for a future attachment.
There is a secret transformation not mentioned in the instructions. From tank mode he has four "feet" You just pull them out and he's a standing tank. It's a nice homage, but it doesn't work in this case. It does look cool if you are blasting an Autobot or Starscream, since the cannon can't "look" up.
Like I said first impressions kill, it took me about 20 minutes just to change him back and forth the first time. Everything was swinging around. It wouldn't stand. All the crap of a KO figure if you will. Well just a bit of getting to know the figure and fixing up some of him and I am pleased with this figure. He's pretty cool, to me, but it's whatever you think. Based on the hundreds of reviews who gave him a low score (below 5). I'll give him an 8, he's not perfect, some parts of the robot are just clumped together for happy happy kibble. Until then, I'll be waiting for a Sideswipe to go along with my recently purchased Sunstreaker. Which will be reviewed sometime...DTM Outz...

Update on life...
Life is good, just chillin...Well I got some hauls recently. The first haul was two weeks ago, I got the Cobra Snow Serpent. I have been looking for him for awhile. He's pretty cool and I guess he was worth the wait. The second haul was last Saturday. My Kmart is having this whole reorganizing of the store and "older" toys are $2-$5 off. I got a Lego General Grievous's Starfighter as my mom insist I get it, cause she said if I wanted to get a $20 then waste money, (mine cost $16). It was my first SW Lego set, and it made a good impression. It's pretty cool.
I might use my phone to take some pictures and do a review. I finally know how to utilize the features... The pictures aren't that clear, but it's good enough to actually see the figure. Maybe tomorrow or some other day this week. I cut the grass today and my hands tend to shake vigorously, so I can't do anything, it's hard to even type this... Well see you guys later, DTM Outz...

Triple Changer and a Quad Changer!?!
I never saw the TFA series before, well not the whole series. I only watched one episode. The space bridge one, A Bridge Too Close? I don't know what it's called, but this is what got me to watch it: http://tformers.com/transformers_database/animated/344/shockwave_Decepticons_Voyager.html
This is the new upcoming Shockwave, I really liked the design as him as a double spy, it sounded interesting. He's like Noisemaze from Cybertron. When or if I find him he's going straight to my cart. I like how they tried to make him a different character. You see his autotbot head with human like eyes and the jam, then you see him as a one eyed decepticon. His hands turn form autobot human hands to long tentacle fingers. The "vehicle" modes are cool looking I guess. The Deception tank is looking cool, I don't know about the crane, it's just a standing tank to me...
See I like triple changers and crap, even this is a quad changer and it adds more value to me. Some of them make no sense like placement of parts (erm, Octane...). Sometimes I regret not getting Classic Astrotrain. I saw some reviews of Blitzwing, again i never saw him before except in that one episode...He looks decent. A tank, airplane and robot, it doesn't get more better than that.
In my whole collection I have a couple of triple changers. Cybertron Metroplex comes to me first. Classics Jetfire is a bit of that, it does have some armor to convert it into different versions of him. I swear I had more, but it probably doesn't come up right away...Well all in all I think triple changers are the bomb, the quad changer is cool too. Well I'll probably keep an eye out for them, until then see you guys later.

Oh damn, not again...
Well tomorrow I start school again, not so excited since I have last lunch... Somehow I switched homerooms. Wishing my friends switched too.
Well before I am off to school I purchased a few stuff, not for school, just for my entertainment. At TRU I finally got Lt. Stone. One of the hardest figures to find. Also they had Cobra Commander with the homage to the classic battle helmet, I might pick him up later. I found him and hid him behind all the Artic Snake Eyes and Zartans. I haven't been to TRU in a month so I was surprised to what i saw, New NECA stuff like God of War, Gears of War, all sorts of stuff. A lot of Iron Mongers and Titanium Men.
Well I headed towards the game section, again I haven't been there in a long time, so I looked around for 360 games. All in all everything was regular priced, except Virtua Fighter 5 and Need for Speed Carbon. I had Carbon for the regular Xbox (I use it as a DVD player now). I wanted to get the gamerscore for it but I didn't want an extra copy, so I got Virtua Fighter. Out of nowhere I got an email for TRU and they were having a sale for games $20 and up, buy one get one half off. I could've got Carbon, damnit! Oh well Virtua Fighter itself is worth the $20 for me. My favorite is Vanessa Lewis, a hot chick that can kill. I saw the other VF versino of her and she was African American. They lightened her skin, at my knowledge she's caucasian. Which fits her well, I customized her look with brunette hair, and all sorts of sexy aparrel. She can also hold a rocket launcher on her hips. Woot. My second favorite has to be Fei-Lei or Lei-Fei. I don't know which comes first, blah! He's a cool Shaolin monk that knows Kung Fu.
If I have time I might give you a Lt. Stone review tomorrow, I'm not making a promise though... Well see you guys later, I better get packing for school, damn I hate it so much...
