Hound and Ravage Review

Here for another review, this time it's Hound and Ravage, or Ravage and Hound. I did return the Batman Beyond from yesterday, played with it for a night because I thought I fixed it.I planned on not returning him, but this morning who decided to snap? The fricken' leg! I gave up and got Ravage and Hound. I was about to buy Cyclonus and Nightstick/ beat (Forgot his name)... Anyways yeah...Ravage and Hound, the outdated oversized cassette tape and jeep.
Hound (Vehicle)

Standard military jeep, I'm guessing. Vehicle mode is looking good. Very reminiscent to the G1 counterpart, just updated a bit. He's a nice dark lime green. Windshield, and head lights clear blue. The lights on top of the windshield and under the headlights are yellow, tail lights red. The has a gunmetal bumper, sides and back bumper. Dashboard, wheels, and something behind the seats are black. The seats themselves are white. There is a white star in the right front. He has two black prongs that can fold flat or vertical. They attach to Ravage's cassette spools in tape mode. The two things behind the seats has little slits that his hologram gun to attach too.

Hound (Robot)

Fold seats down, pull the back half out, and fold the black things behind the seats down. Fold down "trunk" area down and you have his feet. Yay, Half way there! Now stand him up...fold the two arms out and turn them 180 degrees down, fold out the fist. Grab his wheels and extend them out. His waist assembly will fold down then fold up for his, er... underwear? Well, then fold the whole front jeep part down. Fold his head into the front so it clicks. Take the windshield and push it forward, the wheels have two hinges and they fold behind the head.

His robot mode looks good, the articulation fits well with him. Ball joint shoulders, head, and hips. Swivel thighs, hinged elbows, knees and from transformation ankles. The ankles also have rocker joints that move from side to side. Now that is possibility...His Hologram Gun can fit in either hand, and also attaches to his shoulder like the original one. Color scheme stays the same. More black in the arms and legs, yellow appears a bit more. The autobot symbol is found on the car hood, as same as the vehicle mode. The star is also still visible. I find this transformation neat, like the seats folding to become his thighs.

Ravage (Cassette)

He is a new mold. Really nice mold though, looks like the old Ravage, except the appearance due to the new transformation. Pretty nifty though, I really like this mode. Some gunmetal on the sides, and the Deception symbol on the "front".

Ravage (Ravage)

The "front" has the Deception symbol, so lets begin there. The two silver sections, pull them out, they become the front legs. Flip him over, and fold those gunmetal sections out, those become the back half. Fold out the thighs of Ravage from the back, and his head is placed in the middle of the cassette. Pull his head out, pull the front legs down and the back legs up and then in the back pull his tail out. Please level him out, sometimes he just looks funny with that big butt poking out, the thighs and back should be about the same level.

His Ravage mode looks nice. His shoulders looked hunched over for a menacing looks. His eyes are red, and not much else. He has two rockets, hinting at his G1 version, but it is reported the old rockets can fit in the cassette spools. Articulation is all due to transformation. Knees, neck, shoulders, hips, and tail are hinged. The thighs have swivel. Really cool mode.

Nothing much else. This is a great set. Two figures in one. I would recommend this one. Though I'm hearing Cyclonus is good, so he might top this set. 9 out of 10 for this one. DTM Outz..
